: I'm developing a fantasy world based on a certain mythology. If I develop new characters based on mythologies, like Roman myths, et.al., then how can I secure a property of these characters and the worlds they inhabit (assuming that I created them)? I want this protection to extend from original text to films, comic books, movies, role playing games, and clothing. Is this possible and how would I go about securing these rights?
