fiberglass body[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Copyright Forum ] [ FAQ ] Posted by steve meyer on February 12, 2003 at 08:07:02:
I make a unique product made of steel tubing and fiberglass. It is functional, but the style is distinctive, in the way a particular model of a car is distinctive. I read that artwork is automatically copyrighted, so if I had made a sculpture out of fiberglass I would be protected. Is my style also copyrighted? Someone is reprocing my design, and although they are not using my trademarked name, people could easily mistake his product for mine.
