Dear G Smith, The Official Fee last time I checked was $30. There is much more to a copyright than just filing. Do you understand the law with regard to notice. Registration is effective as of the date of filing. I may take nine months to get the certificate. The Official Filing fee for rush service is about $350 and usually still may take about a week or two to get the certificate. M. Arthur Auslander
