Copyright and new PC Games[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Copyright Forum ] [ FAQ ] Posted by Michael C on January 13, 2003 at 20:52:26: On a completely different subject.... I have a video game concept that I think is original and has the potential to make quite a bit of money and I would like to try to sell it to a larger gaming company that I think could put the dollars into it to make it a reality. I also have the means to present this game in front of some fairly high end gaming companies and have them openly listen to my ideas. My question is obvious.....these companies are always looking for new game ideas to make money off of and better themselves so it behooves them to listen to me. However, once I have presented them the idea (which I would most likely have to go into some detail for to get their attention), how do I stop them from simply saying they weren't interested in buying it only to see them make the very same game in three years? How do I protect my idea and still present it to them to gain interest? Thanks,
