I admit it may be a lot of reading but I suggested it only because often creators of works sit on their copyrights instead of actually doing anything to promote them. The article discusses how copyright holders of any type of any category can attract revenue for their works by creating a publicity presence or “Buzz” to attract uses and therefore revenue for their works. I am not trying to promote Inc. I don’t even subscribe! But whenever I find good articles I like to distribute them around the web, to clients, colleagues etc. I would encourage any copyright holder to use the media to promote and publicize your work. Look at your copyrights as a company. Write a press release with a thought provoking headline and fax it to several local newspapers. The potential response can be very lucrative plus it can increase the value of the work. Best Regards, Kim Chang
