Dear forum;
A couple of years ago, a remake of the movie "The Haunting" ( a 1963 classic ) was released to poor reviews and moderate sales. Being a fan of the earlier movie, and a horror writer myself, I went to see it. That night, I began to rehash parts of the movie that stuck in my head. In less than 15 minutes, I came up with a list of about 8 points of similarity between an e-book I've "published". These points of similarity align with the plot changes that are found in the new movie. Some of them are very strong similarities. I did too things: I contacted a couple of IP lawyers and got no response, and asked an author friend of mine what to do, and he agreed that it was worth pursuing with an attorney. It could be coincidence, but my book was published years before (1996) the remake was written
