Reselling photos of vehicles

Are there any legal issues concerning artistic photography of vehicles owned by other people. Images would be resold to the public. (Is it legal to take a picture of someone's car and sell it to the public.) Would I have to get some kind of "release" from the owner of the vehicle? Thank you very much for your help!
