: : I was hired to redesign a website for a small fee..the original site plans changed..the client offered to pay more for a site with more features and also hired me to photograph his products for his web catalog.. I gave him the photos on a cd-rom with a bill for services.. I discounted the bill substancially because the owner's sister is or should say was a friend.(I know) the work done has far surpassed and outgrown the original contract.. the bill is in the upwards of 12k : : they used the photos for 2 print brochures that contain over 100 of my original photos. They are using it to give at bike events around the country, they did not credit the photo work as promised, and have taken the credit from the website now as well. They have made one payment , sent several emails promissing to make good.. then nothing.. so not only have I not been paid, but I don't get any referral work from it either..lose/lose for me.. I can't afford to blow it off.. they sell 40k motorcycles.. aren't hells angels or anything.. just deadbeats .. : : any suggestions? : : and no I hadn't registered the copyrights yet before getting the shaft..
