: My sister told me about a framed piece of scripture she saw at a local craft show in Boston 2 years ago. She didn't take a picture or have specifics about how it was made. I thought that was pretty cool and starting dabbling with different designs at home until I found a combination of paper, frame, matting, etc. that I liked. I started making them and giving them away as presents to a few friends of mine. One Of my friends took her gift to her church and showed a few people, one of them being a member of a national chrisitian bookstore organization. The committie member wants me to start making these in mass so she can begin selling them to the bookstores. Can I copyright my designs and sell them to this lady or am I infringing on the original persons idea??
