: Harpel's Inc. is a family owned and operated company since 1899. Our business was founded on photography. We have and get requests for alot of old photos to be copied in our one-hour photo processing lab department. What are the specifics on copying old photos? These studios much of them are now out of business for many years. Can we copy them without infringing on any copywrite laws. Does a photo have to be officially registed to be copywritten of simply need a copywrite loge symbol?? : Rick Harpel 4th generation photographer Dear Rick, M.
