: Hello, : I am a photographer of famous people (Madonna, William Burroughs, Dennis Hopper etc). Most of which I have take privately all in my studio. I am out of the USA these years & never got a grip on copyright but all images are copyrighted to me and I have books published with these images in them. Also magazine covers (Madonna especially) and some of these persons have used these images for their pr use before. I never bothered with model release as these where people coming over on my invitation and sitting for my ‘Photo Portrait Art’. And as I said I have used in my portrait books. : I have been approached by a publisher to make calendars, postcards, posters. All of which will be as ‘My photo art’. Not per say ‘Madonna’ etc. Their name would be in small type somewhere. : The publishing will NOT be advertising a company or produce. Only as my photo art. : Do I have the right to publish as my art as mentioned, since I have already printed 2 or 3 books using them?….thank you. BG
