Best way to sell song to Company?

I have a song that I have written specifically for Conoco, but could be used for any gas station ending in "O" that is three syllable. What is the best way firstly to copywrite my song, and then what is the best way to ensure that a company will accept my material>? Also who should I address my song to at Conoco ? Their advertising dept?
