Think about it... You are sold a product with the knowledge that it will eventually be unwatchable! : Q1: Is there any consumer protection law against this? I mean, at the time of purchase no one told me that this video will self-destruct in 12 years! : Q2: Is it worth writing to the video producers, seeking them to grant their customers the right to copy their videos to dvd for personal viewing? Or am I out of my mind thinking that the copyright owners would grant such privilege to their customers? : : (actually these videos don't mean that much to me but I like to see fairness in all life's trivial issues.)
