: I've been been to a training class where part of the instruction included copyrighted material. I think I can do a better job, and would like to begin training myself with my own material. My concern is that the topic I will be addressing is the same, and many of the subjects will be the same... it's just that I will be doing it differently. Am I just using the same idea or have I ventured into a derivative work and copyright violation? Does anybody have expanded views of how common ideas/methods can be without venturing into copyright violations?
