: I created a company name and logo for a new company that a friend of mine and myself were attempting to start-up. We created a buisness plan in Oct. of 2001. In November 2001 we got a bite. A company was started in the end of November and because of our own stupidity we allowed the financial backer to incorporate the business in his name on the condition that after his initial investment was reimbursed we would be intitaled to profit sharing percentages. Well... long story short, I was the first to be let go and now the friend of mine has also been let go.
: My question is... am I still intitaled to the name and logo that I created. I was never paid for them. They were created long before the company was incorporated... and we are still interested in starting this business together.
From what you say it does not look good. Elaine's Workshop was designed to catch mistakes BEFORE they are made. It depends on what you agreements ate with the investors.
Take heart if your idea was good enough for someone else to make a sucess with it, your head must till have good ideas that you can profit from.
