this question is similar to the gentlemans wife doing the mosaic tiles of spiderman. i've started doing stipple illustrations. if your not familiar with "stippling" its just thousands of tiny dots. i've done some sports figures lately for my nephews and now i'm being asked to sell some. in your opinion if i were to do a picture of Cal Ripken Jr for example and i 'dotted' "Orioles" and "Ripken" would i be infringing on the copywrite laws of the team name/logo and also on Cal's for using his name?

tho its mearly a groupping of dots?
