: I have a song I made which includes a few pieces of : talking from a movie. None of these samples are : particularly long. Regardless, I have hit a hurdle : when I attempted to post it on the web. The webpage : server will not post the song untill I have gotten : permission from the owner of the film. How do I go : about doing this? Is it legal to use short pieces : from movies in a song? : Thanks in advance. Your webserver is smart. The webserver is doing a good job of protecting himself as well as you.
