: 1. Is it possible to copywright a 3-D anatomical model? : 2. How do I search for a copywright on a 3-D anatomical model and find out if that is still in effect? Without complete imformation, the anatomical model can probably be copyrighted. If the creation is copyrightable, no search is necessary. Your can copyright what you have created. If there are special techniques in createin or doing what you have done then it may be patentable. A search would be advisable for a patent. If the model includes a copying of the work of others, it is still copyrightable even if it is an infringment on another copyright. The same holds true for patents. M.
