: I have a question regarding the very confusing "Work Made For Hire" aspect of the copyright laws. I'd appreciate any help or opinion you could provide. : Does a Work Made For Hire (WMFH)agreement SPECIFICALLY have to contain the phrases "work for hire" or "work made for hire?" I have a contract that states "It is agreed that for copyright purposes, this agreement will be construed and interpreted as a contract of employment for hire." : Does this mean WMFH or something else? I'm thinking it may not be a valid agreement since it uses "employment" instead of "work."
