: Could someone please tell me how to go about getting a song(music and lyrics) copyrighted? I have a friend who wrote a song and has recorded it, but she does not have the music itself written on paper. First of all, does she need to write out the music or are the sound recording and lyrics all she needs? Secondly, how would you suggest that I go about getting this all copyrighted. Thanks for your help.
