THE PROBLEM IS I AM IN THE UK. I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING THE WEB FOR HOURS BUT I CAN ONLY FIND AMERICAN COMPANYS WHO OFFER COPYWIGHT SERVICES. WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE FOR ME TO COPYRIGHT SOME THING IN AMERICA AND STILL BE PROTECTED BY THE AMERICAN COPYRIGHT LAWS IN THE UK. Dear Mr. Palmer, It is not clear if the copyright law will give the protection you want. My understanding of the UK law is that if copyright is appropriate, that you do not have to take any futher action. A UCC copyright notice oufht to preserve international rights. It is going to cost if you what you want is a patent. If you divulge our use an invention before filing a patent application, your rights in a valid patent in the UK and most coutries other than the US may be in danger. M.
