I've searched this forum and found no existing answer to my own question... so here goes: : What is the law surrounding the use of trademarked business names such a UPS or Fed EX or Walmart in a song lyric? : I recall hearing at one time, that the company's permission was required before doing this, but some things I'v heard on the radio in recent years make me wonder if my information is dated? : Is permission still required to use trademark names in song lyrics, or is that somehow now construed as "fair use?"
