: Hi there..I wonder if you can help?! I am in my Final year of uni, and I have to develop an 'online ordering system for my uni library', however, when I came accross the part where various staff have to authenticate orders (passed on by lecturers etc), I immediately thought 'digital signatures!'. I was told that at the present time, copyright law does not allow electronic : signatures. However, a reason was not given, and I need to find out! Does anyone out there know please, it would help me greatly! PS. Any suggestions on how to authenticate an order online without using electronic signatures??? : Thanks!!
