When obtaining copyright permissions for publishing exracts in a book, publishers usually specify the "territory" - eg. "US, Canada & Philippines" only. If the book is sold (& mailed) from the US, but uses the Internet as a marketing medium, is one allowed to sell worldwide (to any country) or are one's customers restricted to just those countries? Where is this covered in the copyright law?
