I'm compiling old photos for a book to be published shortly. I want to make cerain that I'm not violating any copyright. I have real photo postcards from the early 1900s with no author or copyright information. I also have old sketched postcards with no registered copyright. There is also a map in a book that is from 1888 I wish to use, again no record of copyright. Am I safe?
