Good afternoon. I have a question about what I can and can't do under the copyright laws. At my workplace I'm designing an image that will only be used for internal purposes. There will be no sales or transactions involved with this image. The image uses a few items that are easily identifiable as belonging to another party and that have been copyrighted as "associated elements." Do I need to contact that party to get permission or if I post a statement of attribution will that take care of copyright issues? Thanks for your help.
