Where to go to trademark/servicemark my band name

I had been friends with my former drummer for 3 years. We have gone through a shitload of names for the band we were in not the mention the constant changing of other members. I was unhappy with the then-current name of our band and by majority rules I changed it. We all grew to love the name not hearing it before. My drummer winded up hitting me with a car injuring me pretty badly, but friends are friends and I forgave him. I eventually quit the band to spend more time with my girlfriend and work. I recently got a tattoo of the name on my chest. I want to trademark the name so I can use it for my new band and show off my tattoo. Please help me and direct me to the write place.
