: I am doing illustrations for a book. I need to know how to have these illustrations copywrighted and where. How much it costs, and what the rules are regarding selling use of these illustrations then. I have been hired by a company to do illustrations for a book the bought a copywright to. If they pay me a flat fee for art and for time and supplies, without me having a copywright for my illustrations does that mean I will make no commissin off of their sales? : Does copywrighting give me rights to commissions off of any further use of my artwork in any way......like for video prodction, posters, etc? : If I have a copywright for my artwork, then does the company that hired me to do the illustrations have to give me royalties.....along with any separate entities other than this company who wish to use the illustrations? : The original author of the book I have illustrated for this company who has a copywright wants to use my drawings for her book with other companies and ideas. Help! : How do I copywright my other artworks?
