copywrighting illustrations for a book[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Copyright Forum ] [ FAQ ] Posted by michaelle pierce on October 09, 2001 at 13:23:17:
I am doing illustrations for a book. I need to know how to have these illustrations copywrighted and where. How much it costs, and what the rules are regarding selling use of these illustrations then. I have been hired by a company to do illustrations for a book the bought a copywright to. If they pay me a flat fee for art and for time and supplies, without me having a copywright for my illustrations does that mean I will make no commissin off of their sales? How do I copywright my other artworks?
