Are there copywrite laws that prohibit this type of sampling? What can or cannot be sampled from movies? What if you alter the dialog (slow down/speed up/ distort)? Can you then use it legally? : Thanks in advance for your advice, : Blixa Dear Blixa, It is not clear what you asking. It is clear that you are taking about infringement or the edge of infringement. Not every infringement is caught, not every copyright is registered. BUT if you are challenged and there is a properly registered copyright, it costs even if you win. M.
