: I'd like to know where I would write to, for a Patend or copywrite kit.And if at all possible, how may I safegaurd my idea untill I uptain such information; My idea is in text form with a diagram. Is there a way the local postal office can be any help? thankyou Brian Mcweeney
Dear Mr. Mcweeney,
Copyrights are much simpler but give no protection to ideas. Patents are very complex. Even if you could get a kit and even a patent, there is a high risk of getting not value.
The Official PTO filing fee start at $355.
We start with a Reality Check™ to save time money and worry.
Watch out for the Radio and TV advertizers. They get patents that are not inexpensive, but only one in ten thousand make more money than they pay.
