: I am an enlisted member of the U.S.A.F. working as a Visual Information Craftsman (Graphics). A pilot brings me a Dept. of Defense copywrited pamphlet and wants certain pages(Diagrams) scanned and blown up to a larger size and reprinted. He will then use these as a training aides inside a classroom environment. Is it legal to do so?
At law school that would be called a "Nice Question".
While there is little likelihood of being stopped or sued, it is not clear if there is a licence for you to use it.
Why don't you pass the question up the line of authority?
