A few months ago, I created a ring that has now a lot of success, as it is rather original (in terms of shape, materials, etc)and fashionable. I therefore thought about commercializing it on a more broader level, but would like to know if there is any way I could protect it from being copied in Europe and in the US? : : Rachelle, Dear Rachelle, You can register a copyright on the design, not the ring itself. It is important to have a copyright notice in every ring. You may be able to get a design patent. It is slower, does not get the life plus 70 year protection and is far more expensive. M.
