Hello, would someone please help me?
I like to draw fanart from various anime series like Sailor Moon and CardCaptor Sakura. I have never used the fanart pictures for profit, only as a tribute to the original artists' artwork and only privately to further my own drawing skills. Recently I got on Ebay and Yahoo! auctions and I discovered that people were selling fanart (hand drawn copies of original artwork) of Sailor Moon for money! One drawing went up to $50.00!
I know that these drawings are unauthorized and they did not receive permission from Naoko Takeuchi (the artist)! Isn't it illegal?
