: I am making a short educational film for a non-profit organisation using documentary footage from World Wars 1 & 2 and would like to know how long copyright lasts on this kind of footage. And is footage from World War 1 & 2 now out of copyright? If not, is there a repository somewhere of uncopyrighted material from that era. Where do we stand legally with regard to using copyright material. Thanks you. : Marcus
