If i operate my own website can i publish summaries of news articles from other websites without permission? The summaries will not be verbatim nor will i quote the article in any way. It would simply be a summary of the article in my own words. If i can, do i need to somehow list the source of my summary? I'm new to this and my website is very new so i don't want to break any laws. by the way, i do have a couple of companies that advertise on my site. however, i would not charge anyone for reading these summaries.
