I am current producing newsletter for my patients and prospective patients on various health topics. For education purposes, I would like to use some well known medical illustrations by Frank Netter, M.D., as they appear in his book Atlas of Human Anatomy. These illustrations are copywrited by the Ciba-Geigy Corporation. These newsletters and educational pamphlets I'm creating are free. Can I use these medical illustrations if I include his signature and copywrite from Ciba-Geigy? If not, how do I go about getting permission to use them?
