: I am a second year law student at Gonzaga University School of Law, and I am currently writing an Article about the computer software industry in Washington State. I am arguing that the Uniform Computer Information Transaction Act (UCITA) should be adopted by the State legislature to solidify current judge-made law that supports the prinicples of UCITA, and that such a commercial statute would be beneficial to supporting the incredible software industry Washington maintains. : I am looking for practicioner's comments on whether UCITA would be a wise decision for the legislature to adopt, and why?
