Thanks : The name of your recipe can be protected as a trademark if you have used it in commerce to designate to the public that the recipe has come from a particular source. : The recipe may be protected under copyright, however the protection is limited to the expressive aspects, (e.g., a "pinch" of sugar - rather than 1/2 teaspoon).
