my friends on my wing have a pivate study lounge at the end of the hall. We wanted to have a wing get together of 20 or less guys. Would showing a movie in that lounge be copyright infringement. We are charging no money, we just all want to hang out together and watch it. Our hall director says it may be considered a public showing, even though it is a private college and a residence hall. What do you think?
