I am have written a computer program that is used to figure out the points for fantasy baseball for our league. I am thinking about modifying it a bit and putting it out for sale. I have a question about whether this is legal before I waste my time. What it does is takes normal box scores, published on hundred of different web sites, reads them, and converts them into the stats for the fantasy baseball league. I am wondering if these box scores are property of Major League Baseball, or of the web site that I get them from, or if they are available to use for free.
