Can a previously unknown Technique/Style now being used be basis of infringement of copyright??[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Copyright Forum ] [ FAQ ] Posted by Lorraine Cassell on February 03, 2001 at 11:03:55:
Hi, After completing the then schedule I handed in the new series for direction as was agreed sometime ago, but after not hearing anything for two months, I chased it up and was told that they now "already" have something a little similar in progress being produced by another. Having something similar was in no way expressed or indicated to me when I initially told them about this particular technique/style, and I fear that they have taken my proposal for it to be produced by someone else. Now although they may not be using my exact pieces, would it be seen that they have infringed any copyright laws for things such as infringement of style and technique. Any info would be as you can tell greatly appreciated. Thank you Lorraine Cassell
