: I have a small delima. Is it possible to copywright a Manual or Charter which governs church organization and instructions. Also, how does one copywright material from the Bible? How does the copywright apply to the material. Thanks for your assistance.

The Manual or Charter can be copyrighted by the "author" who created it or the owner. The material from the bible is in the public domain and in itself cannot be copyrighted. A copyright can be obtained on works using biblical text. Revisions of existing text may also be copyrighted.
