Do I have any rights to a database I created at work and at home?

I created a database for one of the departments at the college where I work. I did about half of the work at home because it wasn't really my job to create it, but there was a need for it. Now the college is considering selling it. Do I have any rights to it? It is designed to keep track of people waiting to be seen, record how long they waited, who they saw and other stuff as well as generate reports of average waiting times...
