I am interested in the claims of those who have created a True type font called micrE13B. This is the font ( one of a group) that are used on checks. They all must meet a certain standard for the banks to accept them , and they all look identical. So how can they claim that they are copyrighted? Dear Jamie, It is my understanding that Fonts are not copyrightable. Jusst because someone claims a copyright doesn't mean they have a valid right. A fslse claim may be actionable. M.
