: Can a two-word new name for a pre-existing fast-food be copywrited? Should it be? Must it be? Is time involved? Cost? I believe my new name would greatly increase the sales of the item for the producers of the item which presently has no protected name, just an ordinary descriptive name.

: Thank you.

Dear Maxin H. Adler-Pou,
The answer is yes but it must be in the name of the user. It is adviseable to act quickly. Waiting may not destroy rights but could lead to complications.

The big costs come undoing screwups.
