It may be possible to circumvent : this copy protection by the use of a rather esoteric : copying program. (not a commonplace item). : I believe that the right to make a backup for archival : purposes has been well established. If this is : incorrect then please correct me. : The question is this; Has the publisher abrogated : my rights to a backup by making the CD such that : it can not be copied ? Is he obligated to publish : in such a way that backups can be made ? Or is the : ability to create a backup more a privilege than : a right ? : Thanks
