What are the steps? Do I need legal help? Are there special forms needed? : : Thank You Dear Kim Tumey, In this Century you don't go to a barber for surgery. You may not like the idea but it helps to have legal advice you can trust. Early Legal Advice Is Not Expensive. When you are in trouble it's a lawyers hey day and costs an arm and leg. At a minimum you may need service mark protection for the name. Trade names usually have to be recorded to identify you. If they are used as service marks they ought to be registered and may be Federally registerable as service marks. If you create your cards it is adviseable to register copyrights on them. M.
