: I am looking for an attorney to possibly handle a case of an individual, who has plagiarized my book. My publisher has been in contact with the author and their publisher, asking for notices to inserted in future editions of the offending book as well as notice being placed in a number of professional journals. This will be a civil lawsuit, but at this point I just need some direction. Details, and the offending pages will be sent to the law firm who is considers taking this case. Any firm that is considering taking this case should also BE AWARE that there may be high political overtones connected to this matter. Because I currently work as a law enforcement, I obviously cannot pay $200-$300 per hour fee. This case can only be on a contingency fee basis. My booksite is at www.gangwise.com. The book which contains the plagiarized materials is also a book about gangs.
