The Official Filing fee is $30. It may go up next year. The copyright procedures are not complex, the law is.
We enjoy saving clients money as long as we get paid for what we do. Intellectual Property representation by a lawyer who knows the business and can also be trusted, is recommended.
The copyright law protects what you do from the moment of creation. Properly being able to enforce your rights is another thing. The copyright notice and time of filing are important.
