Duration of Copywrite Laws[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Copyright Forum ] [ FAQ ] Posted by Michelle on September 14, 2000 at 04:20:45:
I would like to reproduce some greeting cards that are dated 1950 and down (1920-1945) but I don't know how long a copywrite lasts. I've been told anywhere from 30 years to 70 years. Does anyone know the answer to this question? And, if the copywrite is not posted anywhere one the greeting card does that mean it never was copywrited? Thanks to all who answer.
